More workshops on UI animation, prototyping, and other design tools coming soon. Subscribe here if you want to stay in the know.
Sketch gives you the power, flexibility and speed you always wanted in a lightweight and easy-to-use package. Finally you can focus on what you do best: Design.
Principle makes it easy to create animated and interactive user interface designs. Great for Multi-screen app, or new interactions and animations.
Flinto lets designers quickly make interactive prototypes of their mobile, desktop, or web apps.with custom animations, gestures, and Sketch import
These are workshops for anyone interested in mobile design, UI/UX, wireframing, prototyping, and
illustration. We'll be learning tools like Sketch 3, Marvel App, Flinto, Illustrator, and
others.
At the end of each workshop we’ll have a small project ready.
Bring your laptop. It needs to be a MacBook or Windows running OS X virtual environment. Each
workshop will require different software or tools to be installed but most of them will require
Sketch 3.
Also, feel free to BYOB (bring your
own beer).
Beginner to intermediate levels are welcome. You don't need to be a designer to learn how to use
these tools. If you're a developer or a product manager that wants to learn how to turn your
ideas or wireframes into a reality, this is the workshop for you.
Just bring a positive
attitude
and we’re good.
I'm a San Francisco-based product designer working in a health care startup called
Carbon.
I love solving design puzzles, drawing silly illustrations, and
doodling characters. I have a comic series called The Design Team, you might like
it. I
also spend time composing geeky music,
nerding out on typography,
munching on veggie burgers, and writing punny comics.
Mentoring is one of my
new-found passions.
By teaching you what I know about the craft of design, we will be learning new things
together.
I have enjoyed the experience of teaching courses online and now I'm excited to have a
face-to-face dynamic through live workshops.
You know, the old-fashioned way.
I am really looking forward to creating
awesome stuff with you.
